D L Brown Adjusting (DLBA) was founded in September of 1989 by David Brown.
Since this time the business has grown and has earned its reputation in the insurance industry as a quality loss adjusting consultants. Our priorities are Customer service, cost effectiveness and prompt quality claim adjustments.
We provide a clear focus of the relationship between Insurance intermediates ( Owners Corporation Managers, lot owners and Brokers ) and insurers and are acutely aware of the relationship between all parties.
DLBA provides insurance loss adjusting services throughout the Melbourne Metropolitan Region and Mornington.
DLBA specialize in Strata Title Claims and General claims both in the Domestic and Commercial classes of business and our services are utilized by a number of major insurance companies.

David has 45 years insurance experience, having worked for RACV, VACC and FAI prior to founding D L Brown Adjusting in September of 1989 ( now 33 years old ).
David is qualified with the Certificate in Business Studies (Insurance) and a Diploma of Business (Loss Adjusting), is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance and a Certified Insurance Professional, David is also a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Chartered Loss Adjusters Ltd and a Chartered Loss Adjuster.
Phillip Dolman

Phillip has 29 years insurance experience, 5 years was spent with Fortis Insurance. The last position Phil held with Fortis was as a Team Leader. Phillip has also worked for AGF Insurance in the UK whilst on a working holiday.
Phillip is qualified with a certificate in Financial Services and is and Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. Phillip is also a Certified Insurance Professional and has a Diploma of Business (Loss Adjusting) completed through ANZIF. Phillip joined DLBA in July of 2000.
John Kanesoulis

John has 31 years experience in the Insurance Industry, the 11 of which were with Australian Alliance Insurance in Melbourne. John has also worked with Lion Insurance Group, Vanguard Pty Ltd and the Stronghold Insurance Company. John joined D L Brown Adjusting in March 2001.
John is qualified with a certificate in Financial Services and is and Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. John is also continuing his studies towards the Diploma of Business (Loss Adjusting).
Natalie Sinclair

Natalie joined DLBA in 2019 and is currently studying her Diploma of Loss Adjusting Natalie previously worked at Crawfords Australia and prior to that MJK ( Adjusting/Investigations ).
Sean Handley

Provisional Member of AICLA
Sean joined DLBA in 2018 after previously working at MJK (Adjusting / Investigations). Sean was also a Police Officer in both Western Australia and Victoria.
Sean is currently studying his diploma of Loss Adjusting.
Christopher Brown

Christopher joined DLBA in 2020 and is currently studying to complete the Diploma of Loss Adjusting through ANZIF.

Janine joined DLBA in 2011 and is currently studying to complete the Diploma of Loss Adjusting through ANZIF.
Kathy Skagos

Kathy Joined DL Brown Adjusting in 2017 and has worked as a claims consultant since then. Kathy previously worked at NRMA and RACV for 10 years and is currently studying to complete the Diploma of Loss Adjusting through ANZIF.

Dianne manages the Reception and Secretarial Duties and provides support for the adjusting team in the Melbourne Head Office. Dianne joined D L Brown Adjusting in 2011.
